We find out where the domain is, who pays for the hosting and how you get back in. Everything is written down, even if you decide not to continue.

How the takeover works
Four steps, in this order. You do not need to find any passwords first; that is exactly the work we take over.

Find
We track down where the domain is registered, who pays for the hosting and which logins still exist.

Recover access
We recover existing logins. Where that is no longer possible, we rebuild access through the registrar and the host.

Move
The site moves to hosting we manage, with a backup beforehand and a check afterwards. The site itself stays as it is.

Write it down
You receive a document with everything in it: domain, hosting, logins, contacts. It is yours, even if you decide not to continue.

Monitoring only means something if you know what is checked. This is the fixed set.

For foundations and associations with ANBI status
The mandatory pages stay in order too.
A Dutch public-benefit organisation (ANBI) must keep certain information published: the composition of the board, the policy plan, the remuneration policy and the annual figures. On the full plan we keep those pages current as soon as you send us a change. Every organisation, ANBI or not, also needs a privacy statement that matches what the site actually does. We make sure it is there.
What you can and cannot expect from us
We are a small operation and do not run a 24/7 operations centre. Nor will we pretend to. What we do instead: keep track of what is under watch, agree in advance what happens when something fails, and answer it ourselves.
- A reply within one business day, on business days.
- Basic keeps your site correct: a correction to what is already there, such as a line of text, an opening time or a different image, we simply do. Full keeps your site current: new pages, news items, the events calendar and the ANBI details, up to 4 hours a month. Beyond that €50 an hour, agreed in advance.
- Unused hours lapse at the end of the month. The monthly price mainly covers what runs every month: hosting, domain, backups and monitoring.
- A redesign of your site, a new website, an integration or an application is separate work, on request and quoted in advance.
- The monthly price assumes the traffic and storage of a typical small website. If that grows substantially and stays there, we discuss an adjustment with you first. Nothing changes without your agreement.
Questions we answer before you ask
- What happens if we leave?
- The domain and the content are yours and stay yours. When you leave, you receive all documentation, all logins and a complete copy of the site. We hold nothing back.
- How long are we tied in?
- You are not. The plan runs month to month and can be cancelled with one month's notice, so the handover can be done properly.
- Can we keep our current site?
- Yes. We take over the hosting and the maintenance; the site itself stays as it is. If it genuinely can no longer be maintained, we will say so, with a proposal.
- Can our volunteer or colleague still edit the site?
- Yes. Anyone who can log in today can keep doing so. We look after the layer underneath.
- Who owns the domain?
- You do. If the domain is currently in the name of a builder who has left, getting it back is part of the takeover.
- What if we need something bigger?
- A new site, a connection to another system or an application is separate work, quoted in advance. That is what the infrastructure and software practice is for.
